The plenary “The 3Ds Transforming Healthcare: Democracy, Demographics, and Digitization” will anchor discussions on how social business can drive equitable health for all. Democracy will emphasize participatory governance models that empower patients and communities to co-design and oversee health services, fostering greater accountability and trust in system-level decision-making. Demographics will spotlight shifting population structures and urbanisation trends that demand adaptive social business solutions to serve both ageing and growing urban communities. Digitization will explore how digital health innovations—from telemedicine platforms to AI-driven diagnostics—can extend reach, lower costs, and enable data-driven preventive care. Bringing together social entrepreneurs, policy-makers, technologists, and practitioners, this plenary will map pathways for integrating democratic engagement, demographic insight, and digital innovation to achieve sustainable, inclusive healthcare through social business.
